Spacecraft Micro-Propulsion – Graduate Student Job Description 

The RAPPEL Lab at the Royal Military College of Canada will be offering a Post-Graduate position in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. The RAPPEL Lab has an expertise in Spacecraft advanced propulsion (Hall thruster; Electrospray; Ion thruster; …). 

Education Field: Bachelors in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent 

Summary of activities: Investigation of electric micro-propulsion system for spacecraft; Experimental characterization in vacuum chamber; Simulation of plasma/gas for spacecraft propulsion 

Expectations: Participate in Group Meetings; Participate in National/International Conferences 

Funding: Funding and participation to international conference available 

Status: Canadian citizens or Permanent residents of Canada 

Start date: August 2024 (for 2 years)
