Reserve Volunteer Positions May Be Available

Volunteering

CASI Junior Members are invited to volunteer at ASTRO 2024 in exchange for complimentary registration*In order to qualify, you must volunteer at least 2 full days. 

Duties

Your duties may include the following tasks:

  • Assembly of Delegate Kits
  • Presenting Nametags & Delegate Kits to registrants during onsite check-in
  • Changing signage at strategic times during the conference & collecting signage w/easles at end of day
  • Being responsible for checking-out equipment for a presentation room and returning it upon completion of the session
  • Remaining in your assigned session and assisting the Presenters with any technical issues and/or file management during the session - bacis computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Powerpoint consider an asset
  • Ticket collection for paid events (Gala Dinner, etc.)
  • Capturing images on CASI HQ's behalf which will be reserved for use by HQ and accredited to you

Session Assignments

A volunteer needs to be assigned to each Session in the Technical Program, which may consist of up to 5 presentations. Volunteers will check-out a laptop and arrive at their session 10 minutes in advance to setup their assigned laptop, load presentations, etc., and will be expected to remain in that session until all presentations are over. Remember - you are responsible for collecting all the equipment you signed-out for that session!

All volunteer positions are currently filled.

* Your complimentary Volunteer Registration does not include the Gala Dinner. Tickets may be purchased separately during registration.
