VTOL Aircraft Design
Workshop
The Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute and the Royal Aeronautical Society are pleased to host this VTOL Aircraft Design Workshop. The Workshop consists of ten 2-hour interactive lectures that will be presented on-line between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm EDT (GMT -4) on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Workshop will introduce participants to the principles of manned and unmanned VTOL aircraft design through an approach refined through the author’s extensive experience in VTOL aircraft development, starting from the concept stage and up to full flight testing. The Workshop is primarily focused on developing a basic understanding of VTOL technology, while providing design skills and methodologies pertinent to the field of VTOL aircraft.
