Student Organizations to participate in Canada's National 2022 Earth Observation Forum

You are invited!

The Canadian Space Agency is extending an invitation to Canada’s youth (ages 17-30) to attend the 2022 National Forum on Earth Observation.

Earth observations (EO) from Canadian and international satellites in space contribute significantly to our well-being on a daily basis, providing information and services and enabling us to realize new and innovative products and applications. And as technology advances, the potential of satellites will undoubtedly continue to grow. New markets will emerge along with new opportunities to push the boundaries of what space technology currently offers.

Attending the Forum is free and virtual. Come join us, whether for the full duration of the event or for select sessions that are of interest to you. You may choose to be an active participant or observer.

Date: October 4 to 6, 2022

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET

Format: Virtual

Languages: English and French

Cost: Free

As Canada’s workforce of the future your ideas and perspectives are important to us. Topics that will be discussed at the Forum include: taking action on climate change, open data and big data analytics, digital platforms, monitoring and protecting ecosystems, public health, domestic and international partnerships, increasing commercialization, capacity development, and more.
