Peter Maddocks

People, Places and Planes - My 50 Years in Aerospace

Peter’s talk takes us back to his early days in the industry and follows his life through the significant influences on his career and some of the people who shaped it. But mostly it concentrates on the aircraft with which he has the most memories and what each meant to him. Whereas our January talk from Dr. Ian Fejtek looked forward 30 years, we thought this might be an opportunity to take you back nearly a half century to see just how far we’ve come.

Peter has spent all his working life in the aerospace and defence sectors, starting with an apprenticeship in the UK and moving on to Canada in late 1978. He has worked as a Senior Project, Contracts and Product Line Manager with 35+ years’ experience with aerospace and defence high value contracts.

This event is being organized in collaboration with the Carleton Mechanical and Aerospace Society (CMAS).

Note: Guests and non-members are welcome but we will be beginning new initiatives to build CASI membership.
